Snowball effect

Why is it that whenever I have something go wrong during the day bad things just seem build and build until I feel like I'm on a one way ticket to hell?  First I almost lose two mice from my first set while I'm taking them out of the testing boxes.  Now I am 20 minutes late running all the other sets of mice today (you know...the ones that I was already 2 hours late drugging) because one of the cameras decided to crap out.  Probably because I pushed the cord of out alignment with the broom when I was chasing one of the escaped mice around.  But...here is the kicker.  Even though I have checked the camera cord and made sure it was connected, it is continuing to crap out.  I have to completely reboot the computer, restart the program and type in ALL of my information again...just to get it to work once and then I have to repeat the cycle.  I hate fucking Mondays.  I hate fucking mice.  And I hate the fucking fear conditioning boxes!   I hate my fucking life.

Look on the bright side: there hasn't been an earthquake in awhile.

What ever you do, don't say "At least it can't get worse.". Because, you know, things always do when you say that.

Hmmm....
Maybe if you say, "At least it could just get worse.", then things will get better.

HMM last time we had an earthquake here in Augusta was 1880's. How I know that don't ask.

And I am sure things will improve. Or something.
