This article is dumbfounding. I've seen some fucked up toys ideas before, but this...THIS takes the cake! I don't know whether to rage at just how offensive this thing is or cry at the shamlessness of it. Especially since not a penny of the money they get for this doll will go to help the injustice they are using as this doll's gimick.

Oh God. I have several stores that I would like to get gift certificates from. Amazon, Ebay (if certificates like that exist for it), ThinkGeek and Rightstuf would be most awesome! As for sharing with my friends, most definitely! I mean, if I see something they would like, I'm more than likely going to buy it for Christmas or birthday anyway. So, with the money being spent one way or the other, being cheap with the gift certificate but not bank account makes very little sense to me! :D

Tomorrow I leave at o'dark thirty for Madawaska, Maine! I can't wait to see my family up there and get away from this God awful heat for a while! It's been in the high 90s all week this week. I feel like I'm roasting whenever I go outside. Looks like I'm leaving just in time too! It's supposed to get to about 103 tomorrow! D:

Hopefully going from the high 90s to the low 70s won't have any repercussions on my health. A cold is the last thing I need on a trip!

Anyway! This trip means that more than likely I will be without internet from Saturday until the 29th of this month. Yes, I will be THAT far into the boonies! I may luck out and be able to sneak some wireless from a neighbor, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it. Memere Lagasse doesn't even have a DVD player so there is no way in HELL she's got the internet in any of its incarnations. Ah well. It will give me time to read, play my DS, play Sims 2 and 3. OK, so I channeled Brolly for a bit. So sue me! So, over a month ago, I was tagged by mythos_9 with that character meme. You know...the one where you give answers about a character that a person gives you? Yeah, that one. Well, CV's been being lazy about answering, but she hadn't forgotten! So, now I've gotten an opportunity to answer it. Sorry it took so long mythos! ^^;

The character I was tagged with was Kakarot. Otherwise known as Son Goku! (smiles) Veggie-chan's rival! This should be fun!

1. Do you like this character?
Do I like Goku? (chuckles) Yeah, I do. He's fun, funny, honest and incredibly brave. I'd have to say that he's probably my third favorite character in DBZ after Vegeta and Trunks.

2. What name/s do you call this character?
Names? Well, I'll call him Goku and Kakarotto. Sometimes, I'll call him goof-ball or goober depending on what he's doing. XD

3. What image-color do you associate with this character?
Well, the only color I can associate with Goku is orange thanks to that damn gi he always wears. I can't see the color without at least thinking of him for a second now!

4. What image/song do you associate with this character?
Well, to be fair, I'll do exactly what I did with Vegeta and Tarble; song that I feel fits his relationship with his wife, Chichi and then a song that associate with him.

Well, I felt that the country song One More Last Chance by Vince Gill fits Goku's relationship with Chichi. He just can't seem to stay out of trouble with her!

As for his personality, I heard this on one of my Pandora stations and after reading the lyrics, I felt that it worked very well! And it's not even country! The song is called Eagleheart by Stratovarius. Enjoy!

5. What blood-type do you think this character is?
Type B...without a doubt.

6. What character do you like to put this character with?
I'm bad. I like to pair him with Vegeta. Often. I have a ton of yaoi doujinshi that are Goku x Vegeta. I just added about 3 more to that collection. XD Yes, I am just wrong! As for other pairings...I don't really see much else. I mean, there's the obvious Goku with Chichi...but that's too easy! :P

7. What would you want to say to this character?
I would have to ask him, "Have you ever met an item of food that you DIDN'T like?!" I'm truly curious.

8. Which do you want to do with this character: Shake hands, hug, or kiss?
I would want to hug him because his naive nature makes him just too cute to not want to hug. Then I would have to try and convince him to jump Vegeta's bones though I'm sure I'd just get him to blink in that 'huh?" manner he has perfected. XD That alone would be worth it.

1. Hi! What's your real name and nickname?

My name is Aridrim Korel. As for a nickname...it depends on who among my party you ask, though considering who my Goddess is, I would like to think my nickname is "Pervert". XD

2. Interesting... what's your current age?

My age? Oh my, let me think. I believe I'm 73 years old now. (blinks a bit)(black feathered wings and pointy ears droop a bit) Damn...I'm getting middle aged. D: Well, at least I'm still HOT! XD

3. Uh huh. What's your favorite food?

Anything that's not trail rations! BLEH! I have to eat too many of them as it is.

4. And your favorite drink?

Drink? Sake is nice. Though moon drop ale is very nice as well!

5. Your crush/lover?

(looks surprised and turns dark red) Crush? Um...uh...(whispers) Kass, the party leader. I was just trying to bed him because he was sexy, but...I ended up falling for him in my pursuit. I don't think he knows yet for sure yet. (sighs before looking determined) I must be patient.

6. Aww! Have you two kissed yet?

(smiles with a fond memory) Ah yes. New Orleans oh how I love thee. Since then, I've been sneaking little pecks on the cheek to try and show him my affection for him so that maybe, just maybe, I can win his heart.

7. Classic question! What's your favorite colour?

Favorite color? Well, I tend to wear a lot of light blue in hommage to my former goddess, Aerdrie Faenya. I'm not sure if that is my favorite color. If I had to chose a favorite one...I'd say red...just because of the lovely react I seem to get from Kass when I wear that color. XD

8. Who's your favorite author?

Favorite author? I'm afraid I don't do much reading except for the Gnomish Karma Sutra. That should be required reading at any Sharess temple! :D

9. Now what's your biggest fear?

(sighs) Kass telling me that he doesn't love me and to get the hell away from him. (whimpers sadly)

10. Any siblings?

No. My mother and father were one of the first of my race that didn't have to have at least two children so that our people could replenish our numbers. I do have four cousins though.

11. Who's your hero?

My hero? I have two heros. My mother and father. They fought so hard to save me from that white dragon. How could I think anyone else is more of a hero than them?

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?

Laximyrkcion. The white dragon that ambushed my family on the Himalayan Mountain range. She killed my father and until recently I thought she'd done the same to my mother. She torn my family apart.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?

I would assume that evil magic was at work and do my best to save my parents from that monster. After all, the only reason a white dragon has to keep someone alive is for fresh meat.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?

If I met CV? (hums) Well, first I'd ask her why she had to get me a tragic past. But then I'd have to ask her if we can go out shopping. I mean this modern world has such AWESOME toys! XD

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a powerful cleric so that I can bring my father back and be able to help those in need. Not to mention be able to punish those who deserve it.

16. What's your worst nightmare?

Laximyrkcion coming to kill everyone else I care about while I'm completely unable to stop her. And then she lets me live just to deny me the release of death.

17. What's your lifelong dream?

Kass telling me that he loves me and then being able to introduce him to my parents. Oh, also to be so good at sex that I make Kass, who is half succubi, faint from pleasure. That's gonna be hard. Little bastard's will power is so amazing that he's managed to stay a virgin for over 100 years! D:

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?

What would I do? I'd be so happy I'd cry.

19. Ok, where's your favorite place to relax?

The sky. Nothing relaxes me like the feel of the wind beneath my wings. No, that was not a song cue! :P

Most of my time is spend traveling across the globe with my party. When we are not doing that, I'm flirting shamelessly with Kass. Unless it's dusk, then I'm praying to my Dancing Lady.

Well, most of my friends know that my first car was a maroon Ford Escort. However, what of the friends I made after high school probably don't know is that the Ford was actually my second car. My true first car was a Hyundai Accent. I loved that little car mainly because of the color. It was one of those colors that in one light it looked purple, but in another it looked blue. It was really cute and all my high school friends called it my easter egg considering it was one of those pastel colors.

Anyway, I'm wildly diverging from the topic. One day, I was driving home from the fort. It was a route I took all the time and it was raining on a Sunday, so there wasn't that many people on the road. After a while I came to an intersection where my road ended and connected to a new road. I had to turn left onto the new road, so I looked left...then right...then AS I was starting to pull out I returned my eyes to the left. I heard a loud beep as a white car that was not there when I looked before barreled towards me. I remember thinking "SHIT" as I went to slam on my brakes. However, instead of the brakes, my foot hit the gas, surging me forward even more into the path of the much larger car. Her car smashed into the driver side of my car so hard that she shoved both of us into the storm gully on the other side of the road and slammed my car up against the embankment. When it was all over, I turned to the side to look out my window...and instead of having to lean slightly over to reach my window, I just have to look straight down. My window was gone and my car was practically wrapped around the nose of her car. The force of the impact had knocked my glasses off my face and into the back seat.

Sadly, teenager me's first thought was, "Oh God, my car! My dad's gonna kill me!" I remember bawling my eyes out but other than some bumps and bruises...I walked away from that unscathed. I found out why later. Remember that I gunned it instead of braking? That is what saved me. She was going to hit me one way or the other, but because I hit the gas instead of the brake, she hit the crossbeam between the driver's side front and back doors instead of directly on the driver's side door and into me. Anyway, I had a guardian angel in my passenger seat that day. Btw, my dad wasn't mad...he was just relieved that I was fine.

I've been tagged for a meme! Yay! Double tagged actually!

I was tagged with my all-time favorite character...Vegeta and his little brother Tarble who was recently introduced into the official DBZ universe thanks to a new special done for the 40th anniversary of Shonen Jump.

(heavy sarcasm) Vegeta just looks SO thrilled that Tarble's there, doesn't he? It's like he's thinking "Oh God, why did you have to show up when EVERYONE was in one place?" Such a typical big brother reaction to little brother crashing the party!

Anyway! Let's get to it!

1. Do you like this character?

Vegeta - ...Do I like this character? Do "I" like THIS character?! That's like asking if I like to breath or if I like to eat!? YES I like this character! I LOVE this character. That's why he's in my user name...and my emaill address! Both my personal email addresses!

Tarble - (laughs) Tarble is just too cute NOT to like. You don't get to see him that much in the special, but he just comes off as a little sweetie.

2. What name/s do you call this character?
Names? Let see...for Vegeta I use things like "Veggie"...."Veggie-chan"..."Vegeta-cha" (inside joke with me and Prez)..."Flamehead"...Weggie-poo (another name created during a conversation with Prez)(turns pink)..."Damn Sexy". OK, I'll stop now. ^^; As for Tarble...I really don't have a nickname for him so I just call him Tarble.

3. What image-color do you associate with this character?
For Vegeta, I have two colors that I associate with him. Royal blue...because of how often he wears that color. And red...because of how fiery his personality is. As for Tarble, I imagine a more soothing color for him...like a sky blue.

4. What image/song do you associate with this character?
>_< OK, I went into entirely too much detail for this. I had to refresh my memory on some of my English songs because it's been far to long since I listened to them! BUT, I figured it out! :D Each character gets two songs. One for them...and one for their feelings about their respective wives. Most of them are country songs, but then I listened to alot of country. Not so much anymore, but still, some of my favorite songs are country ones. So, non-country liker...bear with me and my links. ^_^

First Vegeta: For his relationship with Bulma, I think that the song "Help Me Fall" by Mark Wills. It just sounds too much like something Vegeta would be thinking. I'm sorry the link is just for the lyrics. I couldn't find the song on Youtube.
As for Vegeta's personality, I think that "Pissed Off and Mad About It" by the Texas Hippie Coalition sums it up really well! Believe it or not, this is NOT a country song. :D

Now Tarble: Again, we don't really find out much about Tarble...and even less about his wife, Gure. But considering how...different she is from him I felt I had to use "Unusually Unusual" by Lonestar for what he thinks of her. And considering how alien she LOOKS, I can only imagine how alien she BEHAVES!
Finally for his personality, he just seems like the kinda guy that really doesn't want to fight but will as needed so I couldn't resist when I remembered "The Coward of the County" by the legendary Kenny Rodgers. I know that Vegeta says that Tarble couldn't fight and that's why he was sent away, but still, if you can't fight...you usually don't WANT to fight either.

5. What blood-type do you think this character is?
For Vegeta, the best first was type O. For Tarble, the best fit was type A. Wow...I have nothing else to type on this?! ^^;

6. What character do you like to put this character with?
Oh, with Vegeta the yaoi fan-girl in me pairs him with Raditz (thank you, Prezaurian), Goku, Yamcha (again, thanks Prez) and sometimes Brolly if I'm feeling especially wrong. As for poor, little Tarble...I can't think of anyone yet. Though Yamcha x Tarble might be cute. XD

7. What would you want to say to this character?
For Vegeta, I believe I would be would have to ask him one question..."Why do you seem to hate Yamcha so much?"
As for Tarble, I would probably would like to ask how he met Gure! I mean, he's married to the most bizarre woman of any of the Saiya-jin! I'd want to know how that happened and what brought them together!

8. Which do you want to do with this character: Shake hands, hug, or kiss?

For both of them...fuck hugging! I would want to GLOMP THEM WITH GLEEEEEE! And I would probably die very quickly there after as a flustered and embarrassed Vegeta blasted me to my grave, but, oh, I would die happy! :D

I wouldn't give myself much past a week. This mainly because I'm not very athletic so I would never be able to CATCH anything to eat. Plus, I don't know much about edible plants so that's out too. I'd probably end up behaving like a scavenger and dying of infection from rancid meat. Either that or I'd become something else's din-din because I couldn't move my ass fast enough.

I stumbled on this petition thanks to DeviantART. I signed it not only because I have a PS3, but also because SquareEnix seems to be alienating fans of their RPGs that just HAPPEN to own PS3s. I'm not trying to say that XBOX doesn't have the right to have a awesome RPG...but why should the console that has been a home to the Star Ocean series and the Final Fantasy series for long be left out in the cold.

And let us not forget that even 3 years and 3 months after it's release on November 22, 2005, Microsoft has yet to correct the technical problem popurally known as the "Red Ring of Death" in ANY of XBOX 360 consoles! That kind of utter failure does NOT tell me that this system deserves the popularity and support it has gained.

So please, if you feel the same way as I, sign this petition. I'm not entirely sure how much good it will do, but it may at least make us feel better!
